Danny Fitch

Danny Fitch is a Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter reminiscent of Marvin Gaye and fellow Chicago native Mel Tormé: a performer who writes, arranges, and accompanies himself. Fitch is inspired by '60s and '70s soul and R&B and holds a deep respect for Black American music traditions. He carries the warmth and richness of these genres into a contemporary context, with smooth, unhurried vocals refined by his years as a professional a cappella singer.

In addition to soul and R&B, Fitch is equally at home performing jazz standards and classic vocal pop. However, he pares things down for his most recent EP, Reason to Breathe. Three intimate songs, written from the heart, lead with silky vocals and acoustic rhythm guitar.
